Charlotte Helen Cole Hood, 72 of Bellaire died Wednesday July 24, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born November 5, 1946 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Oscar A. and Mary A. (Miller) Loeffler.

She was a member of the First Christian Church Martins Ferry, and a former employee of Shadyside Health Care Center and Bob Evans.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband George Cole, and her second husband James Hood, also a sister Mary L. Johnson.

Charlotte is survived by her brother Miller O. (Ardie) Loeffler of Stow, and a sister Evelyn C. (Keith) Young of Concord NC, also several nieces and nephews.

According to Charlotte's wishes there will no public visitation and private interment will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family.
