Charlotte Shepherd Lucas, 78, of Bethesda, Ohio, died at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. Born October 10, 1938 in Bethesda, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John V. Shepherd and Helen L. Grimes Shepherd. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Charlotte had a never ending love for her family, as they were her greatest blessing. She enjoyed Sunday dinners, Bingo, and the card game Cinch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald G. Shepherd. Charlotte is survived by her husband of 59 years, Darrell E. Lucas of Bethesda, Ohio; children, Kathi (Charles) Little, Melinda (Scott) Blake, Stephen (Suzie) Lucas, Vince (Kelli) Lucas all of Bethesda, Ohio; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry (Macil) Shepherd of Coshocton, Ohio and John (Anne) Shepherd of Spring Hill, Florida; and sister-in-law, Gloria Shepherd of Bethesda, Ohio. Family and friends are welcome to visit, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service, beginning at 11 a.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio.
