Cheryl Elaine Phillips, 64, passed away, Friday, May 2, 2014 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born July 10, 1949 in Belmont, Ohio to Mary Phillips and the late Floyd Phillips. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sister, Joan (Tom) Hollida of Senecaville, Ohio; niece, Christen Hollida of Quaker City, Ohio; nephew, Matthew (Stacey) Hollida of Barnesville, Ohio; great-nieces, Jaydin Frye of Quaker City Ohio, Madison, Morgan, and Macy Hollida of Barnesville, Ohio; great-nephew, Caleb Hollida of Quaker City, Ohio; and her three loving dachshunds, Sadie, Laci, and Ginger. Cheryl retired from Ormet in 1992 due to health problems. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary Powhatan VFW Post 5565. According to Cheryl's wishes, there will be no public visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
