Chester L. "Larry" Jarrell Jr. 65 of Bridgeport passed away Tuesday September 27, 2022, at Ruby Memorial Hospital Morgantown. He was born November 14, 1956, in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Chester L. Sr. and DeEtta (Lyden) Jarrell.

He was retired from OVRTA in Wheeling as a driver and trainer, he was a member of the Martins Ferry Elks Ohio River Valley Chapter where he was an exalted Ruler and Ohio Southeast District Deputy. Larry was also a lifetime member of the Bridgeport Fire Dept, and a former dispatcher for the Bridgeport Police. He also was a dispatcher for the 911 Center St. Clairsville, and a bus driver for Belco Craft and School of Hope.

He was preceded in death by a grandson Lakyn Jarrell, sisters Mary Katherine Sinclair, and Beverly Bennidct.

Larry is survived by his loving wife Rhonda (Davis) Jarrell, sons Kenny (Fawna) Jarrell of Wheeling, and Ian Jarrell of Chillicothe, grandchildren Xavier and Xander Jarrell, Nathanial, Kaitlyn, Allison, Jenna, and Keira Jarrell.

According to Larry's wishes there will be no visitation and private burial will be held at the convience of the family. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family.
