Christ Pashalis Jr. 86, of Bridgeport died Saturday April 23, 2016 at Good Shepherd Nursing Facility Wheeling. He was born December 26, 1929 in Wheeling, a son of the late Christ Sr. and Katherine (Rose) Pashalis. He was a retired supervisor for Nickles Bakery of Martins Ferry for 15 years and the former Wonder Bread Co. of Wheeling for 25 years. He was also a member of Zoodochos Peghe Orthodox Church of the Life Giving Fountain of Martins Ferry and the Ahepa Miltiades Chapter 68 of Wheeling. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Pete Pashalis. Christ is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Brenda (Muklewicz) Pashalis, his father-in-law Joseph Muklewicz, a brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Nettie Bench, a nephew and niece Kevin and Rebbeca Bench, a great niece and nephew Emily and Matthew Bench. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Wednesday April 27, 2016 from 2-8 pm, and then on Thursday from 10 till time of service at 11 am at Zoodochos Peghe Greek Orthodox Church 314 N. 5th St. Martins Ferry, Ohio, with Fr. Michael Ziebarth as celebrant, interment in Greenwood Cemetery Wheeling. Trisagion Service will be recited on Wednesday at 5 pm at the funeral home.
