Christopher James Foose, Sr. grew up in Martins Ferry, OH. His parents are the late Donald F. Foose and his surviving mother Winifred G. (Bourne) Foose. In addition to his father's death, he also had a daughter, Andrea Foose, who preceded his death. He was a graduate of St. John's Central High School class of 1980. He died on Sunday January 5, 2014 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry OH. He is an employee of Nickles Bakery Martins Ferry, OH. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He enjoyed golfing and bowling with his friends, coworkers, and family. He was a member of the Nickles Bakery bowling league at the American Legion bowling lanes in Martins Ferry, OH. He also loved to support and watch Seattle Seahawks. Christopher James Foose Sr. is survived by his loving wife Robin (Overfield) Foose, a daughter Valerie Foose, and his son Christopher James (C.J.) Foose and his companion Jamie Jozwiak. Chris is also survived by his sister Deborah A. (Foose) Jones of Carlise, PA, and his brother Robert S. Foose and his wife Maria Fe of Wheeling, WV. Chris had many nieces and nephews including a grandson, Jeremiah Farmer Jr. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Friday January 10, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. There will also be a showing on Saturday January 11, 2014 from 12 (noon) until 1 pm, where a service with Minister Rod Kasler will be held. Burial will at the convenience of the family.
