Christopher Scott Laipple, 44 of Wheeling formerly of St. Clairsville, died Sunday January 17, 2016 at his home. He was born December 23, 1971 in Martins Ferry, a son of Edwin (Delores) Laipple of Bridgeport, and Patricia (David) Bedwell Hupp of Martins Ferry. He was an employee of Domino Pizza, and a graduate of St. Clairsville High School class of 1990, and a graduate of Columbus State University with a degree in Computer Science in 1992. In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister Bethany Stafford of Martins Ferry a step-sister Angel Walton and her children Alexis, Olivia, and Mason Walton all of Bridgeport, and a step-brother James Bowlsbey of FL, his aunts and uncles, Paul (Georgia) Laipple, Linda (Mike) Ferns, Peggy (Jim) Cook, Valerie (Phil) Rich, Jill (Jeff) Freeman, also many cousins. Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Saturday January 30, 2016 from 4 pm until time of service at 6 pm, with Pastor Dean C. Myers officiating. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
