Christy Lou (Parrish) Twardoski, 68, of Apopka, FL, formerly of Yorkville,

OH, went to join her daughter Kara on August 12, 2023.

Christy was born on December 16, 1954 in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of

the late Donald and Margaret "Peg" (Christy) Parrish.

She was a member of the Bridgeport High School class of 1973 and an

alumnus of Belmont College School of Nursing.

Christy was a very compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse for

over 35 years, working most of her career at Ohio Valley Medical Center in

Wheeling, WV. She was also an avid Ohio State football fan and tried very

hard not to miss a game.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her daughter,

Kara Leigh Twardoski in 2018.

She is survived by her son, Kyle Twardoski of Orlando, FL; her sister, Kim

(Chuck) Crane of Brookside, OH; several nieces and nephews including

Cassie (Nick) Moore of Columbus, OH and Jennifer (Tony) Paesani of

Wheeling, WV; several great nieces and great nephews including Jessica,

Levi, Dominic and Sophia; great-great niece Ember; and several dear

longtime friends that cared for her very deeply.

All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
