Clara L. DeFranco, 89, of Martins Ferry, OH passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at her son's home in Wheeling.

She was born September 23, 1931, in Martins Ferry, OH, a daughter of the late Louis and Marjore (Green) Krismer.

Clara was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.  She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and special friend to many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Joe DeFranco; grandson, Nicholas Czahoroski; siblings, Kay Elsasser, Elaine Wazlavek, Glenda Sacco, Bernice Crupe, Louis Krismer, and Elwood Krismer

Clara is survived by her children, Joseph (Melody) DeFranco Jr. of Wheeling, WV, Robin (John) Czahorski of Marysville, TN; grandchildren, Brandon (Brianna) Czahoroski, Dustin Joseph (Heather) DeFranco, and David Patrick (Kristy) DeFranco; siblings, Marjorie Drotos, Donna Walters, Peg Morris.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Anastasia Kotellos for all her help and love.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 7 th at 10a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. Tom Marut officiating.

Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
