CLARENCE "OKEY" REITTER, SR. Clarence "Okey" Reitter, Sr., 88, of Bethesda, Ohio died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Barnesville Hospital. He was born December 1, 1924 in Colliers, West Virginia, son of the late John O. Reitter and Irene J. Jones Reitter. Okey was a retired drag line operator after 35 years of service from Ohio River Collieries Company. He attended Friends Church and enjoyed gardening, horseshoes, and checkers. Most important to Okey was his deep love for his family and always being there for them. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Mary Bohn Reitter, who died December 31, 1995; son, Clarence Okey Reitter, Jr.; and an infant son. He is survived by his five children, Valerie (Roger) Noble of Bethesda, Tony (Angela) Reitter of Old Washington, Charlotte Reitter of Lloydsville, Joe (Debbie) Reitter of Belmont, Mark (Angie) Reitter of Belmont; daughter-in-law, Kris Reitter of Columbus; grandchildren, Brooke, Jason, Kit, Michael, Josh, Markie, Jamee, Allen, Kaitlyn, Brodie, Brandi, Brea, Martha, Wilson, Jared; great-grandchildren, Justin, Nathaniel, Bayley, Gwen, Reese, Kelsey, Zoey, Walker, and Corbin. Visitation for Okey will be Thursday 6 to 9 p.m., Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Reverend Wayne Ickes will be officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.
