Clayton P. "Rick" Phillips, 66, of Martins Ferry, OH died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at UPMC, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born Apr. 17, 1946 in Bellaire, OH a son of the late Lewis C. and Sarah (Bass) Phillips. He was a former employee of Martins Ferry Hardware. Rick was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Surviving are his wife Linda (Holub) Phillips, a son Patrick (Heather) Phillips of Bellaire, OH, a daughter Sarah (Arron) Corrigan of Bellaire and a brother Charles L. (Emma Joann) Phillips of St. Clairsville, OH. Friends will be received Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, from 5:00 pm until time of the service at 7:00 pm with Rev. William O. Webster officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the family to help defray the cost of the funeral.
