Clyde "Buck" Stewart, Jr., 94, of Groveport, OH, formerly of Flushing, OH died Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH. He was born May 15, 1925 in Flushing, OH a son of the late Clyde and Clarissa (Walker) Stewart.

"Buck" retired from the former R. & F. Coal Company and was a member of the Harbor of Hope Assembly of God Church, St. Clairsville, OH.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rose (Bryant) Stewart, his daughter, Belinda K. Mellott and siblings; Tillison Stewart, Sr., Matilda West, Gladys Cassels, Inez Boyd, and Charmaine Ball.

Surviving are his children; Patricia Stewart of Columbus, OH, Clyde Stewart, III of Lafferty, OH, Cindy Stewart of Columbus, Mark (Shari) Sewart of Yorkville, OH, Melanie (Bill) Cordia of East Sparta, OH and Brian (Melissa) Stewart of Bloomington, IN, siblings; Shirley (Ernest) Dokes of Steubenville, OH, John (Betty) Stewart of Flushing, OH, Marion Stewart of St. Clairsville, Donnie (Janet) Stewart of Flushing, Imagene Hendricks of Steubenville and Clarissa (Tom) Redman of Wellsville, OH, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a great great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received Monday, June 24, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the Harbor of Hope Assembly of God Church, 67667 Warnock-St. Clairsville Rd., St. Clairsville, OH 43950 with Pastor Dean Meyers officiating. Burial follows in Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
