Connie R. Abling Connie R. Jackson Abling, 47, of Warwood, WV, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., July 29, 2002 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. She was born Mar. 19, 1955 in Wheeling a daughter of the late Harry S. and Sarah Dillie Jackson. In addition of her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers Clifford, Eddie, and Irvin Jackson and a sister Zella Ringer. Surviving are a daughter Charlotte Abling and Michael A. Smith of Martins Ferry, a son Christian Abling and his wife Melissa of Wheeling, three brothers Richard and Harry J. Jackson both of Martins Ferry, and Victor Jackson of Wheeling, two sisters Vickie Nickerson of Edgewater, MD and Wilma Heath of Warwood, a grandson Mikeen Anthony Smith, and twenty-six nephews and nieces. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH Tues. 7-9 PM and Wed., July 31, 2002, 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:30 PM with Pastor Terry Erwin officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
