Constance M. (Richards), McKaye, Slotwinski, Montgomery, 51, went home with the angels on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012. She was born Apr. 28, 1960 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Glenn and Florence (Douglas) Richards. Connie is a graduate of Martins Ferry High School in 1978. She enjoyed home improvement projects and working in her yard. She had a fondness of animals her entire life. Her latest love was her little dog Lilly. Connie was baptized at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Martins Ferry and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church, Martins Ferry. She spent many years of her youth as a Girl Scout with her mother as troop leader. Connie always had a generous heart and will be sadly missed by family and friends. Surviving are a daughter Amy McKaye King and her husband Brian of Ft. Collins, CO, a son Luke McKaye of NC, their father Tim McKaye, a sister Leslie Richards Grimes of TX, a nephew Ricky Grimes, and two nieces Jade and Skyler Grimes, and many lifelong friends. Friends will be received Saturday, Mar. 3, 2012, from 10:00 am until time of Memorial Services at 12:00 pm, at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH. with Rev. Thomas N.
