Constance D. "Connie" Talasis, 66, of Pearl St., Martins Ferry, OH died Friday, Jul. 17, 2009 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling ,WV. She was born Aug. 15, 1942 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Walter Renner and Mary(Pleso) Renner Gullo. She was a retired registered nurse from Bellaire Community Hospital, Bellaire, OH. Connie attended the Colerain Presbyterian Church, Colerain, OH. She also was a member of the Red Hat Society, and the AARP Chapter, Wheeling, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Helen Sommers. Surviving are her husband Robert Talasis, two daughters Deborah (John) Smith of Martins Ferry, and Stacey (Tom) Singhaus of Colerain, two sisters Juna Renner of Adena, OH and Esther Renner of Las Vegas, NV, four grandchildren Shyenne, Amanda and Thomas Singhaus, and Haylee Gambs of Martins Ferry, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Friends will then be received Tuesday, July 21, 2009, from 10 am until time of services at 11:00 am at the Colerain Presbyterian Church, Colerain, OH with Rev. John Brown officiating.
