Daisy Vrotsos Gocsik, formerly of Broadview Heights, OH, died peacefully on Wednesday morning, May 3, 2023, at the age of 91. She was born on February 14, 1932, a daughter of the late Pandazis and Maria (Moutafis) Vrotros.

She is mourned by daughters, Karen Gocsik and Janet Gocsik Gilmore, as well as her son-in-law Jerry Gilmore, her grandchildren and their spouses, Leda Rodis and Nathanael Kooperkamp; Maria Rodis and Avery Brook; James and Elizabeth Gilmore; and Michael and Geeta Gilmore.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gocsik; her parents, Pandazis and Maria Vrotsos; and her siblings, Lorraine, George, Gus, Pete, Tony, Nick, John, and James.

Friends may call Thursday, May 18, from 6-8 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry. The funeral will be held at the Martins Ferry Greek Orthodox Church of the Life-Giving Fountain at 10 am on Friday, May 19. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.  May her memory be eternal.
