Dale A. Kinnan, 71, of Mackey Ave., Martins Ferry, OH loving husband, father, grandfather, and believer of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ passed away peacefully Thursday, Aug. 14, 2008 at home with his family at his side. He was born Aug. 3, 1937 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Donald R. and Katherine (McFarland) Kinnan. He was retired from the Yorkville Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Alice Balabin. Surviving are his wife of forty-eight years Mary A. (Obloy) Kinnan, a daughter Vicki Lynn (James) Prescott of Dublin, OH, three sons Michael Allen (Patty) Kinnan, Dale Patrick (Tammy) Kinnan, and Terry William Kinnan all of Martins Ferry, two brothers Donald R. (Shirley) Kinnan, Jr. of Martins Ferry and David W. (Ruth) Kinnan of Springfield, OH, a sister Judy Martinez of Carpinteria Calif., and six grandchildren Nicole M. and Ryan P. Prescott, Kristen D., Kevin M., and Patrick A. Kinnan, and Justin K. Villani. Friends will be received Sunday 12-3 and 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Monday, Aug. 18, 2008 at 10:00 am with Minister Rod Kasler officiating.
