Damon Linn Stewart 44 of Bridgeport died Wednesday January 26, 2011 at OSU Hospital Columbus. He was born February 17, 1966 in Bellaire, a son of Anita L. Stewart of Bridgeport and Eugene (Phylliss) West Sr. He was an employee of Stratford Springs as a culinary chef, a veteran of the US Army Reserves, and a graduate of Bridgeport High School Class of 1984. He was preceded in death by his maternal grand parents William E. and Alyce L. Sipio Stewart. In addition to his parents Damon is survived by three aunts Charlotte Howard and Nancy Steward Saunders both of Cleveland, and Janet Stewart of Washington DC. Friend will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 and then on Tuesday at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church 200 Howard St. Bridgeport from 10 am till time of service at 11 am with the Rev. Myron Seals officiating.
