Daniel Ray Mann, 83, of Quaker City, Ohio passed away at Wheeling Hospital on November 12, 2025. He was born on July 9, 1942 in Bethesda, Ohio, a son to the late Orrie and Vesta (Truax) Mann.
Daniel was a coal miner and a Christian. He graduated from Union Local High School where he held an unbeatable football record, rushing half back record holder. He loved riding motorcycles with his son, Rob. He shared a passion for farming with his son, Brian. He had a common love for Florida with his son, Brad. His daughter, Missy, was the light of his life. He listened to Bluegrass music and never missed a Jamboree in the Hills. He loved the outdoors especially fishing. He enjoyed watching football, an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed watching Nascar races. He especially loved spending time with his family and attending the grandkids' ball games.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by significant other, Patricia Adkins; siblings, Allen Mann, Richard Mann, Robert Mann, Exma VanFossen Ester Conway and Violet Marley.
Left with loving memories are his significant other, Fay Flores; children, Brian (Jill) Mann, Brad (Rik) Mann, Robert (Gail) Mann, Melissa Doughty; grandchildren, Jonathan (Megan) Mann, Jessica Mann, Joshua Mann, Stevie (Sydney) Doughty, Nick Doughty; great grandchildren, Robert Teater, Meadow Mann, Maverick Mann, Milo Mann, Forest Doughty, Wilder Doughty, Rylan Mann, Rowan Mann; sister, Patsy Christman; sister-in-law, Lorraine Bernier plus many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to the graveside service on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 11am at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda. Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719 is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Union Local Schools, 66699 Belmont Morristown Road, Belmont, Ohio 43718.
