Daniel Edward Mitchell, 71, of Martins Ferry, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025, in his residence. He was born on May 5, 1954, in Wheeling a son of the late Henery and Mary Mitchell. Daniel retired from Rite Carpet, was a member of the Martins Ferry Church of God, enjoyed playing cards, watching basketball and football and was an avid Ohio State fan.

He was proceeded in death by brothers Frank, Henry and Rick Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karen (Martch) Mitchell; three sons, Tim Fish, Terry (Carolyn) Fish, and Tommy Fish; a daughter, Tonya (Dennis) Russell; siblings, Jake (Belinda)Mitchell, Dennis (Melissa) Mitchell, Michell (John) Soho, Molly Mitchell, Dennis Mitchell and Bill (Becky) Mitchell; and eleven grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry.
