Daniel Clark Scott, 60, of Belmont, Ohio passed away suddenly on October 27, 2023.  He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on September 6, 1963 to the late Paul and Marlene (Gates) Scott.

Dan the Man was a hard-working, dependable friend that everyone loved.  He worked in construction and heating and cooling.  He was a Jack of All Trades who was willing to help anyone.  He served America in the Navy and his community as a Councilman.   He was a fan of the outdoors, the Cleveland Browns, and the #1 fan to his grandchildren, Delaney and Dailey.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Kathy Scott; son, Josh Doty; grandchildren, Delaney and Dailey; sister, Mary Beth Scott; brother, Paul Scott; nieces, Sarah Scott, Katie Scott; nephew, Matt Scott; and great nephews, Nolan and Tucker.

Friends and family are invited for visitation on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 3-5pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719.  The service will be at 5pm with Pastor Jeff Lewis officiating.  Cremation to follow.
