Darlene S. House, 78, of Barnesville, Ohio, was welcomed into her eternal home, November 16, 2017 at Astoria Place of Barnesville.  She was born October 17, 1939 in Barnesville, Ohio, to the late Richard Edwards and Mildred Sellers Edwards. Darlene's greatest blessing was her family, whom she loved with all her heart.  She enjoyed camping, country music, playing cards, reading, and shopping.  Darlene touched the lives of many and was a comfort and joy to talk with.  She enjoyed going to church and sharing her faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald House in 2003 and brother, Bob Huntsman. Darlene is survived by her daughters, Dixie Carpenter of Jerusalem, Ohio, Donna (Todd) Skinner of Barnesville, Ohio; son, John House of Massillon, Ohio; grandchildren, Connie Sue (Joe) Kress, Natasha (Deron) Shilling, Kody (Chelsey) Skinner; great-grandchildren, Bryar, Brogan, Hayden, Remmy, and Kolson; and brother, Perry (Sue) Edwards of Barnesville, Ohio. Family and friends are welcome to visit, Sunday from 4-8 p.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio, where the service for Darlene will be conducted, Monday at 11 a.m.  Jamie Helmick officiating.  Interment will follow at Somerton Cemetery, Somerton, Ohio.
