David Randall Blake, 75, of Colerain where he lived in the home he built, passed away Friday, February 24th, 2023, in Liza's Place. He was born on June 7, 1947, in Wheeling, the only son of the late Ivan and Velma (Garrison) Blake. Dave was Methodist by faith and retired from the Ohio Carpenters Union Local #3 out of Wheeling. He was an accomplished carpenter and horseman. Dave also loved martial arts and archery.

He is survived by a son, Jeff (Lee-Ann) Blake; two daughters, Kimberly (Kenny) Blake-Kuri and Ashley (Kristopher) Kosem; their mother, Nancy Morrison Blake Britt; two sisters, Diana (Frank) Berus and Cheryl (Lew) Newman; six grandchildren, Jaquiline, Alex, Mitchell, Evan, Karlee and Kannon; two step grandchildren, Kenneth and Kayla Kuri; his best friend, Naji Abboud; and his dog, Gizmo.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Faith Blake.

Friends may call Thursday from 11 am to 1 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 pm in the funeral home with Reverend James Hoff officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
