David Eugene Gantzer, 79, of Tiltonsville, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, in Riverside Hospital, Columbus. He was born in Wheeling on January 23, 1942, a son of the late Philip and Mary (Riester) Gantzer. He retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Yorkville, retired United States Air Force after 4 years active and 16 years reserve as a Tech Sargent. David was also a member of the American Legion, Yorkville VFW Post 4811, Elm Grove Eagles, and the Tiltonsville Indian Club.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Debora (David) Dombo and Rebecca (Robert) Gombert and 7 grandchildren, David, Gina, William, Cameron, Blair, Carlee and Bryce.

David was preceded by his parents; his wife Ella; a daughter, Sandie Ellen Bianconi Thomas and 4 brothers.

Friends may call Thursday from 1-3 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 102 Main St., Tiltonsville. Funeral services will be Thursday at 3 pm in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, Wheeling.
