David C. Gwynne, 61, of Martins Ferry, OH, died April 5, 2012 at his residence. He was born May 4, 1950 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late David H. and Betty J. (Callahan) Gwynne. He formerly worked for the Yorkville Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. Dave was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran serving with the 1st Cav Division. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and American Legion Post #38 both of Martins Ferry. Surviving are his sister Terri Jo Mayhugh and her husband Jim of Martins Ferry and his nephew Michael Mayhugh of Dublin, OH. Private services will be held at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry at the convenience of the family. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
