DAVID A. HAMMEL

David A. Hammel, 74, of Belmont, Ohio, passed away, October 31, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital.  Born December 11, 1944 in Wheeling, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Anthony and Elnor Hardesty Hammel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dick Hammel and sister, Mary Ann Hammel.

David will be sadly missed and his memory will live on in those who survive; his wife, Jeanie Hammel; sons, Timothy and David Hammel.

A warmhearted husband, father, and grandfather, he had worked for Dolly Madison.

He enjoyed spending time with family and was fascinated by wolves, as they signify courage and strength, holding a mystical power both wise and ancient.  They glide silently through the night, as they release their beautiful howl that echoes in the darkness.

In honoring David's wishes, there will be no visitation or service.  Interment will take place, at a later date, privately, with his family.
