LASH, David P. Sr. 81, of Colerain, Ohio, died Thursday July 10, 2008 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, W.Va. He was born September 5, 1926 at Farmington, Ohio, a son of the late William and Louise Wells Lash. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Albert Pete, Willis and Henry Lash. David was a member of the Colerain Presbyterian Church; Belmont Masonic Lodge #16; a 32nd Degree F&AM of Steubenville; Colerain Senior Center; Telephone Pioneers; and a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. David is survived by his wife, Clara Fulton Lash; two sons: David P. Lash Jr. and his wife Cindy of Colerain, Gregory W. Lash and his wife Linda of Pickerington, Ohio; a sister, Martha Conaway and her husband Robert of Pataskala, Ohio; four grandchildren: David M. Lash (Tracy) of Wheeling, Daniel P. Lash (Jenifer) of Colerain, Brittany Lash and Lindsay Lash, both of Pickerington; three great-grandchildren: Jacob, Isaac, and Lydia Lash of Colerain. Friends will be received Saturday 6 to 8 p.m. and also on Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, Ohio. Visitation will also be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. Monday July 14, 2008 at the Colerain Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. John Brown, officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, where Military Services will be conducted.
