DAVID A. MCMILLEN

David A. McMillen, devoted husband, father, and grandfather passed away September 12, 2021 at Akron City Hospital.  He was born to the late Lowell and Lucille (Van Fossen) McMillen January 6, 1945 in Wheeling, West Virginia.  Also preceding David in death were his brothers, Stewart, Lowell, Jr., and Gary.

A logger by trade, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the outdoors.  He enjoyed time spent with his family and especially treasured time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and the special bond they shared.David leaves behind his wife, Mary Ann McMillen; daughter, Christie Jones (Allen); sons, David (Missy) McMillen, Brad (Bobbi) McMillen, James (Paula) Blon all of Barnesville; grandchildren, Eric, Sarah, Ashley (Hunter), Abbigail, Brady, Ella, Coy, Brittany, James, Jr., Bret; great-grandchildren, Harper, Amielia, Easton, Isaac, Isabelle James, Kaison, Oliver, Willow, and Elijah.

Guests will be welcome for visitation, Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 1:00 PM until the time of service beginning at 3:00 PM, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville.  Dennis Arnold will officiate.  Interment will take place privately.
