David J. "Mr. O" Obranovich Sr., 74 of Bellaire died Friday October 27, 2017 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born March 21, 1943 in Wheeling, a son of the late William and Rosalyn (Schultz) Obranovich.

He was a retired Teacher, Principal, and Coach for the Bridgeport and Bishop Donahue School Systems for 42 years. He was a Methodist by faith, and a member of the Ohio Teachers Union.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Linda (Volpini) Obranovich, children Jeff (Kellie) Obranovich Jr. of Indianapolis Ind. Carol (John) McCloud of Bellaire, and Steven (Penny) Obranovich of Delaware, Oh. Grandchildren Alex, Jessica, Andrea, Kaitlin, and Luke, his brother and sister-in-law Craig and Martha Valpini of Dayton, nephews Michael (Crissie) Valpini, and Christopher (Caitlin) Valpini.

According to Dave's wishes there will be no public visitation and a private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family, with Rev. James Hoff as officiant. Interment will be at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family.
