David L. Patterson, 50, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Monday, April 7, 2014 at his home. He was born July 28, 1963 in Lawton, OK a son of the late William E. and Janice P. (Ditsch) Patterson.

He was an employee of Stoney Hollow Tire Company, Martins Ferry.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother William E. Patterson, Jr.

Surviving are his children; Kimberly Patterson and David (Amber) Patterson, Jr all of Martins Ferry and Rochelle (Ricky Lawson) Gill of Bridgeport, OH, wife; Evelyn (Gill) Patterson, brothers; Robert E. (Mary Covington) Patterson of Martins Ferry, Joseph A. Patterson of Panama City, FL, William A. Patterson of Martins Ferry and John E. (Melody) Patterson of Mt. Pleasant, OH, sisters; Sonya S. Patterson of Martins Ferry and Delthia M. Bellar of Tampa, FL, and four grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm and where services will be held Friday, April 11, 2014 at 1:30 pm with Rev. William O. Webster officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
