TOGETHER AGAINDave Thomas 83, of Farmington went to be with his wife Bobbie Friday June 14, 2013 at the home of his daughter in SC. He was born January 18, 1930 in Martins Ferry, a son of the late David J. and Olwen (Davies) Thomas. He was a retired coal miner for Consolidated Coal Co., and a veteran in the US Navy in Korea. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Roberta Ann "Bobbie" (Smigle) Thomas, and a brother Alvin Thomas. David is survived by his sons David J. (Tina) Thomas of Brookwood AL, Dirk M. (Donna) Thomas of Charleston SC, and Brian V. (Jill) Thomas of Farmington, daughters Darcy Mae (Albert) Contois of Charleston SC, and Lori Lea (Mark) Timmer of Farmington, a brother Edward A. (Peggy) Thomas of Triadelphia WV, eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Friends are invited to a celebration of David's life on Tuesday June 25, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am, with Rev.
