David Vasey, 66, of Bridgeport, passed away July 24th, 2024.  He was born on November 5th, 1957 in Bellaire, the son of the late Russell Vasey and Mary Jane (Donahue) Vasey.  Dave graduated from Bellaire High School, 1976. Dave was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan, liked watching westerns, loved his grandkids deeply, appreciated a nice haircut, and especially enjoyed talking to those he loved as often as he could.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children Jill and John Erskine of Pataskala, and David (DJ) Vasey of Columbus, Ohio; his grandchildren Noah, Luke, Addison Erskine, Hayden and Gavin Vasey; brothers John (Wanda) Vasey, Todd Vasey, Kerry (Sandy) Vasey, and Glenn (Carolyn) Vasey;, as well as several nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his father, Russell Vasey, sister Cindy Haswell of Shadyside, Ohio, and Randy Vasey of Shadyside, Ohio.
