Debra L. Padgett, 60, of Bethesda, Ohio, where she had resided most of her life, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Ohio Valley Medical Center. She was born January 28, 1953 in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late James W. Padgett and Dorothy M. Brown Padgett. Debra had worked most of her life in retail. Her grandchildren, being very special to her, brought her much joy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles W. Padgett and sister, Betty Jean Heskett. Debra is survived by her daughter, Amy S. Orr of Holloway, Ohio; Tim D. Orr of Martins Ferry, Ohio; grandchildren, Jared, Aryele, and Acacia Raspberry; brother, Larry Padgett of Lorain, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Debra's wishes were for services and interment to be private and at the convenience of her family. Guests may gather at the Epworth Center in Bethesda, Ohio, Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 11 am until 1 pm.
