Delores Mae Persiani 74 of Dillonvale died Sunday November 21, 2010 at her home. She was born November 9, 1936 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Howard and Bertha Sligar Paxton. She was a retired employee of Lansing-Heartland Nursing Home Bridgeport, and a member of the Dillonvale United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Kenneth Patterson and her second husband Serafino Persiani, a daughter Dorothy Patterson, and a sister Arlene Paxton. Delores is survived by a son Kenneth Patterson (Kelli), and a daughter Hannah Custer (Mark) both of Dillonvale, two brothers Cliff Sligar (Sherry) of Wheeling, and Charles Paxton (Gloria) of Bannock, three sisters Patricia Elerick (Verl) of Mt. Pleasant, JoAnn Farkas of Columbus, and Mildred Burskey of Toronto, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. In accordance to Delores's wishes private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
