WITZBERGER, DeMont Monty, 60, of Bridgeport Ohio, died Friday, October 17, 2008, in O.S.U. Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. He was born July 19, 1948 in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Monty was retired from Weirton Steel; and a member of the Laborers Union 1149. He was an avid football fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a member of the Bridgeport High School football team; and a graduate of the class of 1966. He was preceded in death by his father, DeMont Lee Witzberger; and his grandparents, Joseph and Mina Witzberger and Sherman and Anna Wright. Monty is survived by his mother, Jean (Wright) Strawn; a sister, Marla Reline and her husband, William D., of Hendersonville, Tenn.; a nephew, William S. Reline and his wife, Laura, of Hendersonville; a niece, Stacie Niemiec and her husband, Bradley, of Hendersonville; four great nieces and nephews, Braeden, Jerin and Delaney Niemiec, and Madeline Reline, all of Hendersonville; and a loving companion, Stephanie Keller of Martins Ferry. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Bridgeport, Ohio, where services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday October 20, 2008. Interment will follow in Weeks Cemetery, Bridgeport.
