Dennis Slingluff Boggs, 82 of Martins Ferry, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care.  He was born December 28, 1940, in Baden, PA the son of the late Sanford E. and Margaret E. (Slingluff) Boggs.

He was retired from the Lance Cracker Company as a branch manager.  A member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Martins Ferry, Dennis loved going to car shows, boating and was a handy man and enjoyed working with his hands.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Gail A. Stoner and Sandra Melchiorre.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 63 years Marlene (Mikulich) Boggs, son Dennis Boggs of Martins Ferry, daughter Kris (Trevitt) Boerstler of Aiken, SC, grandchildren, Joshua (Patti) Boerstler, Kevin (Savannah) Boerstler, Danielle (Nathan) Heibel, Jamie, Cara and Dennis Boggs, and 4 great grandchildren complete the family.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 2 until time of service at 3pm with Rev. James Hoff officiating at the Wilson Funeral Home – Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, Oh 43935.  Burial will take place at the convenience of the family at Parkview Cemetery, Wheeling WV.
