Dennis "Tug" Robson, 67, of Bethesda, Ohio, died Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Astoria Place, Barnesville. Born September 4, 1949 in Bethesda, Ohio, he was the son of the late David Robson and Pauline Davis Robson.
Tug was a dedicated and enthusiastic supporter of all Union Local Jets sports and co-founder of Milk Games, honoring the Backyard Rivalry between Union Local and Barnesville. He was also the founder of Bethesda Independent Sports and had previously worked as a heavy equipment operator for Blaney Lumber.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Alvin "Punk" Robson.
Tug is survived by his sisters, Phyllis Agar of Barnesville, Ohio and Judy (Joseph) Heisler of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Larry (Barbara) Robson of Colonial Heights, Virginia, David (Joyce) Robson of Belpre, Ohio, James "Robo" Robson of Bethesda, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit, Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m., until the time of service beginning at 11 a.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Pastor Kim McFarland officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.
