Denver Carl Brown, 62, of Piney Fork, died Friday June 13, 2008. He was born May 29, 1946 the son of James C. and Alice C. Larch Brown. Denver was a member of Pine Valley Sportsmans Club and an honorary member of Shortcreek Sportsmans Club. He was the Smithfield Twp. Road Supervisor. He was preceded in death by his father James C Brown; Grandmother Effie Mae Larch; a brother Robert Brown; a sister Carol Phillips; and a step-sister Janet Moreno. Denver is survived by his mother Alice G. Larch Brown of Rush Run; his wife Carol Laskowski Brown of Piney Fork; a son Michael Brown of Piney Fork; two brothers James Brown and his wife Charlotte of Rush Run, Gary Brown and his wife Brenda of Brilliant; and a sister Karen Dowell and her husband Alvin of Rush Run. Visitation will be on Friday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street Dillonvale where services will be held on Saturday at 1PM with John Chestnut officiating. Entombment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
