Dewey Eugene Haslam, 89, of Clarington, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, in his home. He was born on July 11, 1936, in Clarington, a son of the late George and Ida (Ross) Haslam. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force, retired from North American Coal Company and was a member of the Hannibal American Legion. His biggest joy was working on his farm.

Dewey is survived by four sons, Michael (Louise) Haslam, Terrance (Paula) Haslam, David (Debrah) Haslam and George (Donna) Haslam; a sister, Diane (Raymond) Miller; nine grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ruth Ann (Yingling) Haslam; three brothers; and three sisters.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.
