Dolores E. (Coss) Teare, 87, of Kings Mountain and Gastonia, NC, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Monday, Aug. 27, 2007 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain. She was born Jan. 24, 1920 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Carl W. and Norma (Ambler) Coss. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry and the Bridgeport Chapter #452 Order of Eastern Star. Dolores was a Red Cross volunteer at East Ohio Regional Hospital since 1969. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Teare, a son Donald C. Teare, and a sister Garnet Fortney. Surviving are her son Ronald P. Teare and his wife Corlis of Gastonia and two grandchildren Shelly (Scott) Grossman of AL and Chris Teare of KY. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Eastern Star services will be held Wednesday at 7:00 p.m followed by Deacons services at 7:30 p.m. both in the funeral home.
