Dolores "Dee" Kendel, 91, of Clarington, Ohio formerly of Manchester, Ohio died Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Arbors of Woodsfield.  She was born April 1, 1932 in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of the late Paul Anderson and Juanita Smith.

Dee was a Medical Transcriptionist at St. Thomas Hospital and a member of the American Legion Post 768.  She was Catholic by faith.  She was on a bowling league for years.  She enjoyed going to yard sales, camping, and collecting cookbooks.  Her favorite thing of all was cooking.  She was a caregiver to all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Joe" Kendel Sr.; a son, Joseph Kendel Jr.; and a brother, Bill Anderson.

Surviving are a daughter, Sherry (Steve) Kemp of Beallsville; two sons, Mark (Debbie) Kendel, and Daniel (Danielle) Kendel, both of Akron; a brother, Stephen Smith of Akron; her beloved dog, Toby; ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 5 great great-grandchildren.

All services are private.  Wilson Funeral Home, Harper Chapel, 52728 Ohio Avenue, Beallsville, Ohio 43716 is assisting the family.
