Dolores J. (Romick), Sussmann Martin, 82 of Virginia St., Martins Ferry, OH formerly of Contoocook, NH died Thurs. Jun. 9, 2005 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born Oct. 5, 1922 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late William R. and Pearl V. (Crooks) Romick. She was retired from the Givaudan Corp., Cliffton, NY and a member of the First Baptist Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband John J. Sussmann , second husband John C. Martin, two brothers Raymond and William Romick and a sister Shirley Romick. Surviving are a stepson John J. Martin, a stepdaughter Frances (Peter) Howell, three brothers Rev. Robert J. Romick of Wheeling, Harold G. Romick of Shadyside and Richard Romick of NJ, two sisters Phyliss L. Ogden and Margaret A. Romick both of Martins Ferry, and four step grandchildren. Friends will be received Sat., June 11, 2005 11:00 AM until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 PM when Rev. Joseph Sanders will officiate at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut At Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
