Donald R. Carder, 75, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Friday, August 14, 2015 at Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born August 14, 1940 in Picher, Oklahoma, son of the late Clifford and Kathryn Carder. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Woodsfield V.F.W. and the Barnesville Elks 1699. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Pollen and brother-in-law, Rolf Fugger. Donald is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ursula E. Carder of Barnesville, Ohio; daughter, Christine Landis of Delaware, Ohio; son, Ralph Carder of Cardington, Ohio; granddaughter, Alexandria Landis; brother, Alvin Carder of Portland, Oregon; niece, Debbie Cooper, and sisters-in-law, Doris Anderson, Ruth Fugger, and Crista Fugger. Family and friends are welcome to visit, Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service beginning at 1 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
