Donald Eugene Compston, 72, of Moundsville, died Friday June 12, 2009 at his home. He was born October 23, 1936 in Smithfield Twp. Jefferson County Ohio, the son of the late Donald L. and Ruth (Neely) Compston. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew Edward Roset. Donald was a professional musician and played with many of the well known bands of the 1950's and 1960's era. Donald is survived by a sister Ruth Roset and her husband Joe of Alabama; a nephew Ronnie Roset and his wife Debby of Alabama; a great nephew Tim Roset of Woodsfield; and a great niece Stacey Roset of Lewisville. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Northern Cemetery, Smithfield, OH.
