Donald Lee Funkhouser "Foxy", 57, of Belmont, Ohio passed away at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Sunday, October 14, 2012. Donnie was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, as well as an avid hunter, trapper, and fisherman. He enjoyed spending most of his time outdoors and with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Lois; their two daughters, Misty (Wendell) Compher of Bethesda, Ohio and Stacy Funkhouser of Belmont, Ohio; his two grandsons, whom he referred to as his "best buddies', Jacob and Jonathan Compher; five brothers, Charles (Vicki) Funkhouser, James (Jeanne) Funhouser, John Funkhouser, Richard, Funkhouser, and Mike (Roberta) Funkhouser; two sisters, Ellen (Ron) Duvall and Sherry (John) Underwood; and several nieces and nephews. In death, he will be joining his parents, John and Ethel Funkhouser; three brothers, Roger, Tommy and Junior; and his sister, Hope. A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends, at the convenience of his family.
