Donald E. Harshman, 76, of Wheeling, WV, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born Feb. 29, 1932 in Wheeling, a son of the late Claude E. Harshman, Sr. and Sarah E. (Skinner) Harshman. He was retired from the former Valley Camp Coal Company and worked part-time for the Wheeling News Register, Wheeling. Don was a member of the Benwood American Legion Post #46 and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Caroline (Krupinski) Harshman, his second wife Margaret (Penvose) Harshman, a step-son Jimmy McCulley, and two brothers Larry Harshman and Claude Harshman, Jr. Surviving are a son Don (Linda) Harshman of Wheeling, WV, two daughters Tammy (Dale "Pat") Kinnan of Martins Ferry and Vickie Davis Harshman of Wheeling, a daughter-in-law Roxanne McCulley of Benwood, WV, a sister Mary Curry of OH, nine grandchildren Victoria Burkhart, Justin Villani, Patrick Kinnan, Joey, Cody, and Josh Davis, Katie, Melissa and Brian McCulley, and three great grandchildren London Pearson, Braden Burkhart, and Lala McCulley. Friends will be received Thursday 6 -9 pm and Friday, May 9, 2008 from 11am until time of service at 1:00 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where Rev. William O.
