Donald R. Houk, 86, of Bridgeport formerly of New Cumberland, died Friday April 19, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born November 24, 1932 in Punxsutawney, Pa, a son of the late Richard D. and Edith I. (Mitchell) Houk.

He was a retired sales manager for the former Mead Supermarket Co. in Arizona for more than 30 years, a veteran of the US Air Force in Korea, and a Presbyterian by Faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Betty Kessle.

Don is survived by his wife Nelda J. (Conley) Cline Houk, two daughters April Casteel, and Amy (Barry) Frye both of Arizona, a nephew Skip Mayhue of New Cumberland, WV, also several grandchildren.
