Donald W. Kunze, Sr. Donald W. Kunze, Sr., 65, of Vickers Hill Rd., Colerain, OH died Fri., Feb. 8, 2002 at home. He was born Aug. 15, 1936 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Lawrence L. and Jeannette Wagner Kunze. He was retired from the Martins Ferry plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, a member of the Colerain Presbyterian Church of Colerain, Eagles Aerie #456 and Waneta Tribe Improved Order of Redman both of Martins Ferry, the vice-president of the Panhandle Collie Club of West Virginia, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death his first wife Estella M. Green Kunze and a brother Wilford Kunze. Surviving are his wife Maryann Wetzel Kunze, a son Donald W. Kunze, Jr and his wife Connie of Colerain, a daughter Mary Rose Mussard and her husband Mark of Colerain, three step-sons Donald Keefer and his wife Angie of Cadiz, Randy Cologie and his wife Iris of Adena, and John Keefer of the home, a step-daughter Stephanie McClain and her husband Mike of Quaker City, two brothers Ronald Kunze and his wife Jane and John Kunze and his wife Mary Ann all of Martins Ferry, two sisters Phyllis Tate and Suzanne Phemester both of Martins Ferry, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH Mon. 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Friends will then be received Tue. 10 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM at Colerain Presbyterian Church, Colerain, OH with Rev. Tom Armstrong officiating with Marty Morrison offering the eulogy. The Belmont Co. Council of the V.F.W. will conduct full military services at the church following services. Internment will be at the convenience of the family. Everyone is invited to a luncheon in the basement of the church immediately following the services
