Donald E. Nau, 92 of Martins Ferry passed away peacefully at the Wheeling Hospital Continuous Care Center, Wednesday, May 25, 2022. He was born February 27, 1930, the son of the late Frank and Loretta (Armbruster) Nau.

Don was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel – Beach Bottom as a material handler, he was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Martins Ferry and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force -Korean War, and an avid Notre Dame Fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Jack and Richard Nau and one sister; Patty.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Angelina (Salimbene) Nau, two sons; Kevin (Lori) Nau of St. Clairsville and Donald K. Nau of Martins Ferry, grandchildren; Lindsay (Dakota), Leah (Ryan), and Ryan Nau, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Private family visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 10 am till time of Mass of Christian burial at 11am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 20 N. 4th St. with Fr. Thomas Marut officiating, Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Wheeling, WV., the Belmont County Veterans Association will perform Military honors.
