Donald Joseph Thomas, 67, of Bridgeport, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 in his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on April 2, 1953 in Wheeling a son of the late Ernest and Pearl (Schwaben) Thomas.  Don retired from Wheeling Hospital and was a member of the Elm Grove Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Warwood Veterans Association.  He also was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed wood working.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carolyn (Freismuth) Thomas; 2 sons, Craig (Chrissy) Thomas and Chad (Kristen) Thomas; a sister, Dorothy Nickerson and 2 grandsons, Tanner and Aiden Thomas.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Robert and Eugene Thomas.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to a charity of the donor's choice.
